This week we are learning about apples. We read a shine a light book called Secrets of An Apple Tree. I love these Usborne books you use a flashlight with them and the kiddos love them! We had a group conversation about everything we knew about apples. We then cut an apple open and noticed the seeds form a star. We cut our apple into slices and did a science experiment. What will brown an apple faster air, water, oil, or vinegar. We charted our guesses and vinegar had the most guesses and vinegar was definitely the hardest on the apple.
