To end art week I introduced the kiddos to my favorite artist Monet. We looked at some of his paintings on the computer and painted our own paintings inspired by his 1899 painting The Water Lily Pond.

Today we explored Watercolor paint! We also had a lot of fun playing!

We read I Ain't Gonna Paint No More, and talked about primary colors/color mixing. For art time we fingerpainted with red, yellow, and blue. I warned them if they mix them all together you would get brown... we have many brown paintings!! 😂
