Transportation

We will be "writing" in our journals almost every day for the rest of the school year (I'm shooting for every day, but it's preschool... things happen). The idea behind this activity is just to get a pencil in their hand. The older kiddos are asked to write their names and then they can draw, write, scribble whatever they want. It's always fun to see how their writing changes from the first entry to the last! Anything with wheels or that moves has been a popular topic with this group of mostly boys this year that is why we have decided to have this Theme again. We sat up stamp pads with transportation stamps and paint for table time today. We also encouraged them to stand, move around, and ask friends for stamps they couldn't reach.

Transportation

This week we are talking about things that get you from one place to another. We named as many as we could think of, and some of their answers were a little silly... hippo, rhino, and a bear were a few I would not use to travel! We read Calling all Cars! We painted with cars for table time.
