Hibernation and Migration

We read a book called Long Winters Nap. We talked about what hibernating and migrating means and discussed some of the different animals yhat hibernate or migrate. For table time we used puffy paint (shaving cream and glue) to make snowy cave art.

Snow/Ice

We did a 3 step technique for art time today. First you squeeze glue, then sprinkle salt, and finally drip watercolor over the glue and salt. Our VIP shared his poster, and his Aunt joined us for breakfast! We also celebrated a special 5th Birthday!

Snow/Ice

Our VIP had a special guest for breakfast, his aunt joined us! He also brought cookies for a special snack. We read a shine-a-light book called Secrets of Winter. We learned how to sign the word snow and sang a song called "snow is falling down" For table time we did a big group project. The purpose was to explore our new small squirt bottles I just bought. They had so much fun!! It may not be beautiful but the process was awesome!
