We read There's a Monster in Your Book. We used watered fown paint and a straw to make blown paint pictures. We will add eye stickers to make not do scary monsters.

Not So Scary Monsters

We read Goodnight Goon. We made Monster Goo with cornstarch and water. When you get the consistency right it is so much fun to play with a solid when you are moving it around and a liquid that drips through your fingers when you stop moving it. They loved exploring the monster goo. We also played with moster play dough and put our scrap box and monster stickers out again. Our Vip's Grandma and Aunt joined us for breakfast, and we shared a story written by his daddy! Thank you for spending your morning with us!

Not So Scary Monsters

We read If You're a Monster and You Know It, the kiddos did stood up and did the motions as I read. Snap your claws, twich your tail, smack your jaws... We also used 5 monster chip clips to do Five Little monsters jumping on the bed. We made shape sticker monsters for our table activity.
