Leprechaun Trap

We read How to Trap a Leprechaun. We looked at pictures of leprechaun traps and discussed how they would work. We brainstormed ideas and then drew out our design. Some of the kiddos hung their pictures up to use as a they start building. We will begin building tomorrow and continue all week. This is definitely one of the most exciting weeks of the whole school year. I love listening to them describe how they are going to catch that sneaky leprechaun. They are so comfortable creating and building by this time in the year it is so fun for me to just sit back and watch, get supplies when asked for, and just be there to throw their ideas off of.

Weather

Rainbows, Pizza Restaurant, Playground, and Playing... that pretty much describes our Friday! Our VIP shared her poster on Wednesday, but I wasn't there so we shared it again! Next week will be an exciting week, the week they have been waiting for Leprechaun Trap Building Week!! I have stocked up on supplies, but if you think you have something perfect we might need we would be thrilled with any donations.

Weather

We learned about clouds today. We read It Looked Like Spilt Milk. We then made our own cloud art with puffy paint and said what we thought it looked like. We finally made it back to the playground today!!
