Weather

We talked about rain, and how water droplets in the clouds get so heavy that it falls to the ground. We did a science experiment for table time using water, shaving cream (cloud), and blue water color (rain droplets). We also played with water and sponges to make it rain. Our VIP had a special visitor for breakfast and brought a special snack to share at snack time. Thank you so much for coming!

Weather

We are hoping for some warmer, spring temps soon! We are missing the playground! We played in snow and used droppers to drip blue and yellow water color. The yellow and blue made green! Miss Christy was showing the kiddos how to make a hill out of the snow... this turned into volcano talk. So, why not add some baking soda and vinegar! We turned our kitchen center into a pizza restaurant, and we  celebrated a special 5th Birthday!

Seuss Week

We finished Seuss Week with a pajama day. It was I Am Not Going to Get up Today! Because of the snow day we missed out on Cat in the Hat  Day so we did some of those activities too! We made a blanket fort, put red stripes on a hat with play dough, did some balancing activities, and had Seuss photo props! Our VIP'S mommy joined us for breakfast, dance time, and read a book.
